Quick Guide to Marine Wildlife Incident Responses

When live or dead marine mammals, marine turtles, or sharks and rays are encountered on the beach, in the shallows, or entangled in nets, most situations would require a response. This response may include documentation, data gathering, rescue, salvage, rehabilitation, or release of the animal. These posters serve as guide to ensure the response is carried out appropriately for various situations involving different marine wildlife. They are meant to supplement the Aquatic Wildlife Rescue and Response Manual Series which discusses the situations in detail.
